Extract from the Senate Journals of Wednesday, March 27, 1996:

The Honourable Senator Berntson for the Honourable Senator Ghitter moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator DeWare:

That the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources be authorized to monitor all matters related to the implementation and application of the Act to accelerate the use of alternative fuels for motor vehicles (previously S-7); and

That the committee report to the Senate no later than June 21, 1996.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
