The name of the Honourable Senator De Bané was substituted for that of the Honourable Senator Cook (April 24, 1998).

The name of the Honourable Senator Grafstein was substituted for that of the Honourable Senator Johnstone (April 24, 1998).

The name of the Honourable Senator Losier-Cool was substituted for that of the Honourable Senator Milne (April 24, 1998).
