The Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications met this day at 5:25 p.m., the Chairman, the Honourable Senator Bacon, presiding.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on February 24, 1998, the committee continues consideration of Bill C-17, an Act to amend the Telecommunications Act and the Teleglobe Canada Reorganization and Divestiture Act.
