The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs met at 5:15 p.m. this day in room 160-S, Centre Block, the Chair, the Honourable Peter A. Stollery, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Austin, P.C., Bolduc, Carney, P.C., Cools, Corbin, De Bané, P.C., Graham, P.C., Losier-Cool, Mahovlich, Murray, P.C., Phalen and Stollery (13).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Johnson and Spivak (2).
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Peter Berg and John Wright.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, November 7, 2001, the committee proceeded to study Bill C-6, An Act to amend the International Boundary Treaty Act.

At 6:00 p.m., Mr. Fawcett, Mr. Cooper and Mr. Reiskind answered questions.
At 7:00 p.m., the committee suspend its work.
At 7:30 p.m., the committee resumed its work.
Ms Sullivan and Mr. Hart made statements and answered questions.
At 8:50 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
