The Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence met in camera this day at 2:05 p.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Gwen Boniface, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Boisvenu, Boniface, Dagenais, McIntyre, McPhedran, Oh and Richards (7).

Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Griffin (1).

In attendance: Daniel McBryde, Constance Naud-Arcand and Christina Yeung, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Stav Nitka, Communications Officer, Senate Communications Directorate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, the committee continued its examination on Canada's national security and defence policies, practices, circumstances and capabilities. Topic: Sexual Harassment and Violence in Defence and Security Institutions.
