Monday, March 8, 2021 – Senator Paula Simons engages with teachers participating in the 2021 virtual edition of the Alberta Teachers Institute on Parliamentary Democracy. The annual professional development program provides participants with unique access to the Alberta Legislature and has them explore the traditions and roles of the western province’s parliament.
Tuesday, March 9, 2021 – During Canada’s Feminist Response and Recovery Summit, Senator Marilou McPhedran moderates a breakout session on the women’s movement, which examined current challenges and concrete actions required to support women in various sectors.
