Senators show solidarity with Humboldt hockey victims

Senators, staff and members of the Senate administration and the Parliamentary Protective Service donned hockey sweaters and green-and-gold clothing on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in solidarity with the Humboldt, Sask. community.

A bus carrying members of the Humboldt Broncos hockey team collided with a transport truck on April 6, killing 16 people and injuring others.

Senators joined thousands of Canadians across the country who have come together to support each other in the aftermath of this tragic loss of life.
