NOTE: An error occurred in Issue Number 7 of the Proceedings of the Committee. The issue shows meeting Number 11 took place on May 26, 1998 when in actuality the meeting was Number 10. Consequently, there will be no meeting Number 10.

The name of an Honourable Senator will be substituted at a later date for that of the Honourable Senator Forest (August 28, 1998).

The name of the Honourable Senator Chalifoux was added to the list of members on September 21, 1998.

Pursuant to Rule 85(4), membership of the committee was amended as follows:

The name of the Honourable Senator Wood substituted for that of the Honourable Senator Forest (September 23, 1998).

The name of the Honourable Senator Gill substituted for that of the Honourable Senator Chalifoux (September 23, 1998).

The name of the Honourable Senator Chalifoux substituted for that of the Honourable Senator Wood (September 23, 1998).

The name of the Honourable Senator Mahovlich substituted for that of the Honourable Senator Taylor (October 22, 1998).
