Honourable senators, I want to make a declaration of interest that I, Mobina Jaffer, note for the record that I believe I have a private interest that might be affected by the matter currently before the Senate. The general nature of my interest is that my family owns a family farm.

Honourable senators, Senator Jaffer has made a declaration of private interest regarding Bill C-208, An Act to amend the Income Tax Act (transfer of small business or family farm or fishing corporation) and in accordance with rule 15-7(1), the declaration shall be recorded in the Journals of the Senate.
